The cast is still on and we hit the vet bi-weekly to have it checked. Dr t cut it in half last time to check it then vet wrapped it back on. This time we requested blue and added silver stars for the new year. We went to makos house in town last night and chaos came too and showed his friends his latest flair. The dogs hung out and played while we hit Colorado avenue for the countdown. We made it home by 1am since I am entrenched at work this week and am on day 5 of a 7 day stretch. We had waited 20 minutes on the way to town in the gondola line and were lucky enough to beat the crowds on the way home and jumped on an empty pet cabin.

Glad to see things are healing. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. We finally made it to Washington amidst the snowiest winter yet for this area. Dixie is adjusting well and I think she was glad to be done with the 2500 mile drive. Happy New Year!
